Deer Season Has Begun At Logan Sportsman Lodge & Hunting Preserve
2009 Deer Season has opened at Logan Sportsman Lodge & Hunting Preserve. Our first hunters for the season from Meridian, Mississippi enjoyed a three-day hunting and lodging adventure.
During opening day, our guest who took the first by bow displays his doe and looks forward to more!
Logan Sportsman Lodge & Hunting Preserve consists of approximately 1600 acres with a combination of hardwoods, pines, river and creek frontage, swamp and farm land, creating the natural habitation for the growth and development of our wildlife and scenic enjoyment for the hunter.
Our property has been managed for many years with food plots and the proper mix of vegetation specific to the species of animals you will be hunting. Our operation plan allows for hunting of deer, quail and turkey, and our region has a history of producing 150 plus class deer.
We offer lodging for our hunters in a newly constructed, rustic pine hunting lodge, which can accommodate up to 22 sleeping guests. We prefer to keep our hunting groups to a maximum of 12 hunters at one time to provide a higher level of service to our visitors.
Our hunting lodge is a family owned and operated sportsman's retreat, now into our fourth generation of outdoorsman familiar with this region of Alabama, just north of the Florida border. Our goal is to make your hunting and lodging experience a safe and memorable adventure.
