At Logan Sportsman Lodge & Hunting Preserve, we offer a variety of deer hunts to meet your needs. All of our deer hunts are semi-guided with individuals who know the land and the herd. Our deer management practices, food plots and custom-built, two-man shooting houses have been designed with the herd and the hunter in mind.
Deer Season
Bow and arrow and spear, October 15 through January 31
Special Muzzleloader, November 17 through November 21
Antlered bucks and Doe, November 22 through January 31
Deer Hunt Packages Include:
Morning hunt and afternoon hunt
Morning hunt times 5:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Afternoon hunt times 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Transportation to and from hunting areas
Game cleaned and packaged at additional charges
Lodging plus 3 meals per day according to your hunting preference
Rates One Day Deer Hunt $300 per person
Includes all package benefits, excluding lodging and meals
Rates Two - Seven Day Deer Hunts
Two-Day Hunt - $650 per person
Includes all package benefits plus 3 meals per day and 1 night of lodging
Three-Day Hunt - $950 per person
Includes all package benefits plus 3 meals per day and 2 nights of lodging
Four-Day Hunt - $1200 per person
Includes all package benefits plus meals per day and 3 nights of lodging

Corporate and Group Hunting
We offer corporate and group hunting discounts. If you have a corporate sponsored group or a large group who would like to hunt and lodge with us, please call or email us to inquire about accommodations and rates.
Bag-Limits, Restrictions & Fines
Antlered Bucks: Must be at least 8 points Maximum one buck per day with a total of three bucks for the year as mandated by law
Doe: Maximum two per day
Spotted fawns: Do not take one. It is illegal in the state and on our property. In addition to the fine listed below, charged by Logan Sportsman Lodge & Hunting Preserve, your game will be reported to the state, and we cannot guarantee the fines and penalties the state of Alabama will impose upon you. We adhere to the law and are fair game hunters!
All children 16 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult 21 years of age or older with written consent and release from parents.
No alcohol consumption is allowed prior to or during any hunt. Violators of this restriction will be fined $500 and may be subject to loss of hunting privileges on our land for the duration of your scheduled hunt at the owner's absolute discretion. If your hunting privileges are lost due to alcohol consumption prior to or during a hunt, endangering the lives of others, the owner retains the right to keep ALL of your hunting fees with NO refund even though you do not hunt.
A $500.00 fine per sub-standard buck will be imposed, and a $500 fine per spotted fawn will be imposed. An additional $500.00 fine will be charged for exceeding limits established by Alabama State Law.
A deposit of one-half of your hunting fees will be required in advance to secure your hunt dates. If you cancel your hunting date one-week in advance, one-half of you booking deposit will be refunded. If you cancel less than one-week in advance, you will not receive a refund of any of your deposit due to the potential loss of bookings to our business.
